This film is the story of a young Mexican, Ramón, who lives in a small village in Durango, Mexico. Due to lack of opportunities and the threats from the narcos in his village, Ramón has attempted to migrate to the US multiple times, though never succeeded. A friend suggests he try Wiesbaden, Germany, where he has an aunt who who would assist him. Upon arrival there, Ramón discovers his friend’s aunt no longer lives there. Ramón lives on the streets, asking the passers-by for help. Ramón’s willingness to work wins him many friends and supporters, so when he has legal difficulties they assist him. Buen Día, Ramón has a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ website.
