On Thursday evening, February 18th from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, the William M Thomas Planetarium will give a special one-hour evening showing of “Oasis in Space”

The one-hour show will begin with a short tour of the evening sky using the planetarium’s new Goto Chronos star projector followed by the 24-minute all-dome presentation from Spitz Creative Media called “Oasis in Space” using our Spitz SciDome projector. Oasis in Space transports the audience on a startling and beautiful voyage through our universe, galaxy and solar system in search of liquid water—a key ingredient for life on Earth. With a proven, audience-tested story, a 95% national viewer approval rating, and an original surround-format musical score, Oasis In Space will delight viewers of all ages.
