Kern Energy Festival

On November 7th, 2015, the first annual Kern Energy Festival will take place at the Kern County Museum from 10am to 3pm.
The event is presented by the Kern Energy Foundation and the California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA) in cooperation with local energy companies from solar, wind, and petroleum sectors. The Kern Energy Foundation is a 501(c)4 that promotes STEM education and energy awareness in Kern County. The festival will feature live music, local food and beverages, and educational exhibits from many of the major energy companies in Kern County. Kids are welcome to join in the fun with activities such as bounce houses, face painting, clowns, and educational exhibits.
