Los Ángeles Azules are a Mexican group specialized in Cumbia ‘Grupera’ music formed in Mexico City, Mexico in 1976 by brothers Elias, Jose, and Jorge Mejia Avante. The group’s musical genre can best be described as Colombian Cumbia and disco. In 2001, Los Ángeles Azules were nominated to the Billboard Latin Music Awards, that same year touring the U.S. to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
