Western State Bowl: Bakersfield College Vs Chaffey College

The Renegades (6-4) will host Chaffee College (6-4) on November 22nd at 4pm in historic Memorial Stadium.

The Renegades have been the biggest draw in California JC football this season, hitting the ten thousand fan mark in their second to last home game of the seasonk. The ‘Gades finished the regular season with 13,587 fans going through the turnstiles at Memorial Stadium, which put them in the number one attendance spot in the state.

With a strong tunrout this Saturday, the Renegades could touch the 20,000 fan mark for the first time in years.

The game will be more of a “Festival of Football” complete with free bounce houses for the kids, provided by Kiddee Amusements, located on the upper concourse above the BC logo at the North end of the stadium, with a full view of the scoreboard and field so parents don’t have to miss a second of the action.

Negotiations are underway to have “Cowboy Calvin” perform an encore show, but this time with improved audio and technical support from PacWest Sound, the official sound company of BC Athletics.

The world famous BC Drumline is also expected to perform, and of course, the Renegade Cheerleaders will be there to keep everyone’s spirits high.
