The Spotlight Theatre was founded in 1999 by Emily and Jaque Thiroux, to fill a growing need in the community for a theatre that did shows for the changing landscape of Bakersfield. The Spotlight has provided audiences with an exciting array of theatre productions ranging from contemporary to classical.
