Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association (BETA) presents: The 8th Annual Read Across Bakersfield! Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday by joining BETA in watching “The Tale of Despereaux” at the Bakersfield Fox Theater on Sunday February 22, 2015. Join us for the Block Party Pre-show events right outside the Fox Theater for photos with The Cat in The Hat, face painting, a book walk, games, music and much more! Tickets are FREE and available at the Bakersfield Fox Theater, or the BETA Office at 837 H Street. The pre-show starts at 1:00PM, and “The Tale of Despereaux” starts at 2:30PM. Pick up tickets starting on February 11, 2015.
